Ibn Haldun University will deliver an institutional presentation at the 3rd Global Islamic Economy Summit Istanbul, organized by AlBaraka Forum at the Istanbul Financial Center (IFC), Halkbank Headquarters on June 3-6, 2026.
The institutional presentation, titled “Sustainability Analysis of the Participation Finance Sector under Shifting Market Dynamics”, will be delivered by Prof. Hasan Vergil, Executive Board Member of Ibn Haldun University Center for Applied Research in Islamic Economics and Finance (CIEF) and Head of the Department of Economics at the School of Business, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, between 11:30 AM and 12:15 PM.
The presentation will address the sustainability of the participation finance sector under changing market dynamics, with a focus on sectoral resilience, the impact of macroeconomic variables on financial equilibrium, simulation-based methodological approaches, and strategic insights for maintaining institutional stability.
Held under the theme “Capital in the Islamic Economy: Structuring Wealth for Sustainable Development”, this year’s summit aims to bring together policymakers, academics, financial institutions, and industry representatives working in the fields of Islamic economics and finance.
The program will be open to public access on June 3, 4, and 6, 2026, while the June 5 session will be held by invitation only.
