Muamelat: Journal of Islamic Economics, based at the Center for Applied Research in Islamic Economics and Finance at Ibn Haldun University, is now accepting manuscript submissions for its third issue, planned for publication in September 2026.
Muamelat is a peer-reviewed academic journal that seeks to advance scholarly knowledge by publishing original research articles, academic translations, and other scholarly contributions in the fields of Islamic economics, Islamic law of obligations, and Islamic commercial law.
The journal welcomes manuscripts prepared in Turkish, Arabic, and English. All submissions undergo editorial screening, similarity checking, and double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.
Submitted manuscripts must:
Muamelat does not charge authors any submission, review, or publication fees. Accepted articles are published on an open-access basis and assigned a DOI.
Manuscripts are accepted exclusively through the DergiPark submission system. Authors who wish their work to be considered in the planning of the third issue are encouraged to submit their manuscripts as early as possible.
Submission for the third issue does not guarantee publication in that issue. Final issue planning is determined by the Editorial Board based on the completion of editorial screening, peer review, revisions, and publication preparation.
