The Applied Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) Finance Program, organized in collaboration with Boğaziçi University Lifelong Learning Center (BÜYEM), Arz Portföy, and the Ibn Haldun University Continuing Education Center, aims to equip participants with both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required in venture capital and private equity investing.
The 160-hour program covers core areas including foundational finance, economics and market dynamics, financial analysis and valuation, venture capital and private equity investments, fund and portfolio management, and law and regulation. The curriculum is supported by case studies, financial modeling exercises, current regulatory developments, and practical applications from the sector. Seventy-five percent of the program will be delivered in person and 25 percent online.
The program is particularly relevant for undergraduate and graduate students in economics, business, finance, engineering, and related fields, as well as young professionals, entrepreneurs, analysts, and prospective investors seeking to build a career in finance and investment.
Although the program is fee-based, scholarship opportunities are available for eligible candidates. Under the Arz Fellowship framework, a limited number of participants are expected to benefit from scholarships, mentoring, and internship opportunities. The scholarship evaluation process will consider applicants' financial circumstances, motivation for joining the program, and career goals. For this reason, prospective applicants who may qualify for scholarship support are encouraged not to view the program fee as a barrier to applying.
